What to Expect at Curious Canvas Design Studio

At Curious Canvas, we believe creativity should be fun, inspiring, and a little messy! Our classes are filled with hands-on projects using paints, glue, clay, glitter, and more. Please make sure your child wears clothes they can create in—we embrace the mess!

Some of our activities may take place outdoors, especially during nice weather. We may include breaks for light movement, group games, or time on the trampoline. Because of this, we recommend that students bring a refillable water bottle, wear sunscreen when needed, and dress appropriately for outdoor play.

We have two small, friendly doodle dogs on-site. While we do our best to keep them separate during class, students may occasionally interact with them. If your child has allergies, fears, or sensitivities to animals, please let us know ahead of time.

Snacks may or may not be provided during class, and our space is not allergen-free. Students are welcome to bring their own snacks if they’d like. Parents are responsible for notifying us in writing about any known food allergies or medical conditions before participation.

Although we prioritize safety and supervision, accidents can happen—a paint-stained shirt, a bumped elbow, or an enthusiastic glue spill is part of the creative process. We’ll always do our best to ensure your child is safe, supported, and having a great time.

By participating in any classes, camps, or services provided by Curious Canvas Design Studio, you agree to the terms outlined below. This form serves as a record of your understanding and acceptance of these terms.

By registering for and participating in any Curious Canvas Design Studio activity, workshop, camp, or event (“the Program”), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Health, Food & Allergy Disclaimer:
- We are not responsible for food allergies or sensitivities.
- Snacks may or may not be provided. All food is offered as-is and may contain allergens.
- Participants may bring their own snacks. We are not a nut-free environment.
- Parents must notify Curious Canvas of any known allergies or medical conditions in writing before participation.

Outdoor & Environmental Disclaimer:
- Some activities may occur outdoors with exposure to heat, insects, or a trampoline.
- Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

Animals On-Site:
- We have two small, friendly dogs on-site. While kept separate, interaction may occur.
- By participating, you accept the presence of animals and release all liability related to them.

Creative Projects & Materials:
- Art projects may involve paint, glue, small pieces, or sharp tools (e.g., scissors, hot glue).
- While supervision is provided, accidents can happen. Participation is at your own risk.

Waiver of Liability & Indemnification:
- You agree to release and hold harmless Curious Canvas Design Studio, its owners, instructors, and affiliates from all claims resulting from participation, including injury, allergic reaction, property loss, illness, or death.
- You waive your right to pursue legal action of any kind.

Consent & Agreement:
- By registering or attending any Curious Canvas Design Studio services, you acknowledge and agree to this waiver.
- Checking the box below confirms your understanding and helps us keep a record of your agreement.
